No card · only you see the client card
What the client card is in Praxis
A client card in Praxis is an online record that keeps everything important about a client: general information, request and goals of therapy, personality profile (strengths and vulnerabilities), clinical information, risks, personality traits, client documents and a short clinical summary.
Couples have a separate «Relationship map»: general information about both partners and the relationship, each partner’s request and the couple’s joint request, goals of therapy, features of the relationship (the couple’s strengths, the interaction cycle, communication, needs, attachment and safety) and a short clinical summary.
Pick goals from a ready catalogue of 9 categories or write your own — and mark progress in one click. The same goals are shown on the session page, so they are in front of you before every meeting.
What the client card holds
General information
Age and date of birth, language, contacts, profession, education, place of residence, emergency and important contacts.
Request and goals of therapy
Request, expectations and motivation. Goals from a catalogue of 9 categories or your own, progress marked in one click.
Personality profile
Strengths and vulnerabilities from ready catalogues or your own — with how pronounced each is and a comment.
Clinical information and risks
Diagnosis and co-occurring conditions, key yes / no questions with details and a risk checklist — in front of you, not in scattered notes.
Relationship map for couples
Both partners, each one’s request and the couple’s joint request, shared goals and features of the relationship — in one card.
Documents and clinical summary
Client files in private storage that opens only for you, and a short clinical summary.

Frequently asked questions
Usually general details and contacts, the request and goals of therapy, history and clinical information, risks and a summary of the work. In Praxis that is eight blocks, all optional: fill in what your approach needs.
It is for couples: instead of a personal profile it holds information about both partners and the relationship, each partner’s request, the joint request and features of the relationship. A couple’s goals are shared and shown everywhere — in sessions, supervision and notes.
No. The card, clinical information, risks and documents are visible only to you. The Praxis team does not look at your client records.
In private storage: a file opens only after a check that this is your client. Praxis servers are in Finland, in the EU.
Yes. Goals, strengths, vulnerabilities and risks can be picked from a catalogue or written in by you.
The card is part of the client’s page, next to the therapy journal, supervision, free notes and assignments. The goals from the card are shown on every session page.
